Sleeping beauty and the snitch - A twisted tale

It was a fine day. Sleeping beauty had never been out ever since she had been left on the doorstep as a baby. So when everyone wasn’t looking she put on a hood over her head and sneaked out. She was about to buy herself an ice-cream when she stopped! 

There was a sign saying “Closed.” She spoke to the keeper who owned the shop. The keeper said “Whenever I make my ice-creams they melt and people try to drink it like soup, but it has a salty taste.”

There was a tinkle in the air and a small yellow fairy was whizzing round and round above the princesses’ head! 

“Who are you?” said sleeping beauty. 

“I am the taste fairy and everything isn’t good here. We need your help.” In a flash of her wand sleeping beauty became a fairy. Then the fairy explained what had happened. 

She said “the keeper was terrified because this had happened. This really is goblins mischief.” Later she said to the princess “follow me.” Suddenly they came to a sandcastle. 

In front of them was the most gigantic sand castle they had ever seen. Two big green goblins were eating lunch. The others were just eating ice cream. For decorating, the leader of the goblins had a big sparkling shell. 

“Wow!” said sleeping beauty “where did this shell come from?”. 

The fairy nudged the princess. “That’s the shell we need” she whispered. 

“A shell, why?” asked sleeping beauty. “I will tell you in a minute,” whispered the taste fairy. 

She reached inside of a bag and pulled out a wand saying “Invisble.” “Now no talking.” said the fairy.

 “O.K” agreed sleeping beauty. 

They came to a frosty ice-castle. That’s the goblins castle, said the taste fairy. “We need that pink shell before the goblins see us” said the fairy. They snitched the shell. The fairy called out SALLY! And out came a huge canary. Could you fly us to sleeping beauty’s castle?

And the canary flew them right to sleeping beauty’s castle. “Don’t forget I have left a gift for you, it is in your wardrobe.” said the taste fairy as she flew away. Bye said the princess. The princess soon got to the ice cream place that she had visited a few minutes back. She soon found that it was open, and bought herself an ice cream. 

When she came back to her castle she told her parents that she went out in a cloak and no one knew it was her. She also found a long pink dress that the taste fairy had left in her wardrobe and they lived happily ever after.
