The true story of a lost girl

In India, Mangalore, there lived a lovely little pack of a family. Well, there was a girl in there(Gita). One day she and her brothers decided to watch a pantomime on one of an epic. The little girl watched and watched until she became so tired that she fell into a deep slumber in one of her brother’s lap.

The next thing she knew was, she seemed to be walking for miles in the witching hour of dark. The little girl began to cry. She wailed and howled. Finally, a next door neighbor’s maid spotted her and gasped. She took her by the arm and led her back to her house.

Now (I don’t think you would like to know) in the house a terrible racket was going on. “SLASH..HIT..SCREAM”. The front door opened.

“Where was you?” bellowed her mother. A belt in her hand and her skirts hitched up. She hit the lost girl then hugged her and cried.

THE END
And that lost girl was my mum (chuckles)
