Improving a story - Homework Year 6

A shaft from the faint moonlight flickered ominously through a frayed patch in a tent and rested on Bjorn’s eyes; resulting with an aroused spirit and a menacing growl of inconvenience. He exclaimed an annoyed sigh of protest to have woken up at such a time. However, dawning wisps of realisation formed as he became aware of the deed he was summoned to perform. Bjorn was to advance the Vikings and pocket the golden bracelet that they possessed.

Due to a belief in the tribe - ‘The Mchgoweyes’ that Bjorn represented, they believed that if the bracelet should ever fell into wrong and undeserving hands, a dreadful fate would be cast upon them.

He accomplished his thoughts and slipped away in the shadows just as a Viking approached carrying a foul aroma with him and collected the water jar and placed it before the other Vikings. No sooner had they taken a sip, they were intoxicated. Eyes rolled drunkenly backwards as they collapsed onto the ground.

Pleased about how his little scheme had turned out, he crept forward and touched the golden bracelet which produced immense radiance by the embers of the camp fire.

A cold blanket of fear wrapped him as a Viking stirred…
