There was once a Skeleton,
he just wouldn’t listen
So they put him in a
boarding school
With a strict old matron
And his life down there was
quite a burden
Soon the Skeleton learnt very well
To make use of hyphen and
all about oxygen
He learnt about seasons and
made good reasons
When he forgot his work on
many occasions
One day Mr.Skeleton broke the rule
By talking to Ashton in the
middle of a lesson
Mr.Young the teacher called
for the squadron
To scoop Mr.Skeleton and
give him some poison
The Skeleton was banned from being a citizen
Of the school that gained
good attention
The life of the Skeleton
came to an end
As the poison drifted him
round the bend
This was my attempt for my Homework task in Year 4 to write a poem making use of a given set of words(highlighted). I've posted this in All Poetry too.
